Eye examinations in Glasgow
Comprehensive Eye Care Services
At Churchill Optical, eye examinations are at the heart of what we do. From our Glasgow city centre practice, we have been caring for generations of patients since 1921. Our approach is simple – expert eyecare, delivered with time, care and a personal touch.

Enhanced eye examinations with OCT
For patients who would like an even more detailed assessment, we offer enhanced eye examinations including OCT (optical coherence tomography) scanning. This advanced technology allows us to look beneath the surface of the eye, helping us detect potential issues earlier and giving you greater reassurance about your eye health.

Specialist eyecare services

Emergency eyecare
If you have a sudden concern about your eyes or vision, help is available. We can support you through our sister practice, Russell Opticians , where an IP qualified optometrist is available to manage urgent eye problems.

Dry eye service
If you suffer from dry, uncomfortable eyes, we offer a dedicated dry eye service using MYAH technology. This allows us to properly assess your symptoms and create a treatment plan designed to bring lasting comfort.

Home visit
We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality eye care, even if visiting the practice isn’t possible. Our Home Visit service brings the same level of expertise, compassion and thorough care directly to you, ensuring your eyes are well looked after in the comfort of your own home.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye examinations are available at Churchill Optical, ensuring young eyes are developing as they should. We also support children who are short-sighted with myopia management options, including Night Lenses. These can help slow the progression of myopia and are worn while sleeping, leaving children free from glasses during the day.
You can find out more on our contact lenses page.
